HealthTIES™ is the Institute’s transdisciplinary health initiative,
seeking a more complete understanding of the cause and management of high-impact,
complex diseases from a Comprehensive Health1 framework.
It applies the TIES™ approach - integrating knowledge across science,
practice, and community - to specific health focus areas where complex, interrelated
factors demand coordinated response.

Interested in a HealthTIES™ we haven’t announced?
Beyond cancer and cardiovascular disease, the Institute is considering additional
HealthTIES™ programs - including the environment-health interface,
where environmental exposures and ecological conditions shape health
outcomes, from individuals to populations. EarthTIES™ and
HealthTIES™ converge at this intersection - it is where integrated,
cross-disciplinary work may matter most. If your work is here, we’d like
to hear from you.
